Lisa Daniele Hanlon
Senior Manager, Media Relations
As a Founding Partner at Southard Communications, Lisa Daniele Hanlon has a
solid background in managing communication campaigns and implementing
national media campaigns for a wide range of companies. Her over 15 years
experience includes media relations, special event planning, product
introductions and strategic counseling. Lisa has intensive account
management experience, including the development of creative and strategic
communications programs for a wide range of prestigious clients. At
Southard Communications, she has headed up the strategic implementation and
publicity for the agency’s key consumer clients including LeapFrog, Toymax,
The Ohio Art Company, Pressman Toys & Games, American Express and Sony.
Prior to joining Southard Communications, Lisa was a senior account
executive/head of national media at Earle Palmer Brown\New York where she
was responsible for the supervision, strategy and program evaluation for
some of the agencies key accounts including Ciba Animal Health, the Acrylic
Council, Western Union Financial Services, The Learning & Discovery Channel
and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center.
Lisa joined EPB from Dorf & Stanton Communications where she directed the
day-to-day communications programs for two of the agency’s key clients:
Sharp Electronics Corporation and the Eastman Kodak Company, as well as
coordinating ongoing national media relations programs for Pitney Bowes
Management Services and Chase Manhattan Bank.
By coordinating successful new product launches for innovative consumer
electronics and photography products including the Sharp Wizard electronic
organizer and Kodak’s Photo CD system, she has extensive media placement
skills in the areas of technology, consumer, trade and business.
She also conceptualized, managed and executed several special events,
promotional campaigns, press conferences and media tours. In addition, her
supervision on Kodak’s youth marketing program makes her well acquainted
with today’s rapidly expanding teenage marketplace.
Lisa is a graduate of Cornell University and currently resides with her
spouse and two children in Chappaqua, New York.
